Howard the cat......a digital debut

Over the years I have experimented with digital drawing. I never had success with a Wacom tablet and ended up returning it. But when my iPad mini arrived on Monday, I couldn't resist trying the Procreate drawing app. Holding the iPad mini in my left hand I grabbed a stylus and quickly sketched Howard. I then decided to try posting from my new beloved iPad mini. It worked!

Well Howard looks mega relaxed : ) I have the Bamboo tablet and Im not sure if I like it either, little to many things you have to do so a drawing will stick... Will have to go back to it again, but I have been wondering about all the different ipads/pods and this is interesting.

Love the sketch!!!

wow, it looks wonderful and i think the great thing is it doesn't look like it is computer work either, has all that lovely character of a real sketch.

That's lovely, what kind of pen/brush do you use with it?

Thank you, Mrana. I used an inexpensive Targus Stylus.

I am a quilter and I love your cat picture.. May I have your permission to reproduce this on a quilt someday?
I think it would work quite well.
